Current Giveaway: EIO Sippy Cup!
I came across the EIO Sippy Cup on a random google search and immediately fell in love. I am ga-ga for mason jars and the concept of a safe, mason jar cup with a lid was just too awesome to not make an immediate purchase.
Penelope got another one for Christmas so now she has two, purple and green. She is still a little young to use it by herself, but I love that this cup will actually help teach her how to use a regular cup without a lid, unlike other sippy cups. I think she likes that it's more like a grown up cup too.
They wash easy, store easy, carry along in the diaper bag easy (although don't turn your bag upside down or anything crazy, because it's not spill proof). This is my new diaper bag these days (which is freaking awesome and my favorite PPB so far) and it has 5 million pockets and the EIO cup is the perfect size for the pockets and I never have any spillage.
I agree with this Mama blogger, who also reviewed the EIO sippy cup and said: "there are so many new products on the market boasting that hey are BPA free, but they are still plastic." I know its nearly impossible to go completely plastic free but I like to do the best I can.
So do you want to do the best you can? Enter this giveaway and you could win a EIO Kids Cup!!

So I love it because it's got grippers (and some insulation from beverage temperatures), it's reusable, smaller than a full size cup for storage, easily washed, I could use one myself as a travel mug - it's just like a disposable coffee cup! One thing I also really love about this company and many others like it doing reusable, safe products is that they try to keep their manufacturing local to the market they're selling in, which just makes it better.
ReplyDeleteohhh I have been wanting one of these after seeing it at your house! I think they are grand, making use of thick mason jars, which are always a plenty, grippy, and safe
ReplyDeleteAaahhhh! I wants it precious!
ReplyDeleteBut honestly, all I can comment on in regards to the website is: $6 shipping? Seriously? For a plastic top and sleeve? Ouch. Does it actually come with a jar? Still, though. It's waaaay out of my budget. Poo.
I added this to my big blog post of linkage for you. Does it still count as an entry if it's not a post dedicated to the giveaway?

Love love love it. And, perfect timing--just today I was wondering about sippy cups as that time will come for us in the not too far future. I love mason jars and love this idea of this! I also like that it's like a real cup, that's just what I was looking for!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! It will actually teach LO how to use a regular cup, and as one Mama already said, I could even use it myself as a travel cup. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI really love the fact that this cup doesn't have those small crevices which build up mold, this has been my biggest pet peeve with the sippy cups i've bought for my son, it is gross, and a waste that I have to throw them out!!
Thanks for the great give away!!

ReplyDeleteOhhh...I like this! It's nice that it helps littles learn how to drink from a cup, but offers a little "protection", too. Our LO loves to drink from regular cups, but spills 100% of the time. Would love for her to have one of these so we can stop using straw sippys.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking into getting one of these cups myself. My 2yo uses a regular cup, but she will sometimes spill or simply dump it when she's through. This one looks like it would minimize some of the spills vs. a regular cup. Plus, I hate how all her sippys make the beverage taste plasticy to me.
ReplyDeleteI love this! We have been looking for a transition cup and haven't found what we wanted. This actually addresses almost all we were looking for. We wanted a real cup concept with decreased spilling. Thanks for posting!

It looks like it would be a fabulous cup! I'm always on the hunt for new items to help Quin transition to "big people" cups... which he prefers to any sippy I have ever offered him, but that he makes a mess with :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that they teach them more how to drink from a regular cup
